Ryegrass mosaic virus (RGMV)

This virus is widely distributed and infects important forage grasses (like Lolium spp.), causing light green or yellowish mosaic symptoms. It is transmitted by the eriophyid mite Abacarus hystrix. The particles are around 700 nm long.
