Robinia pseudoacacia (weed) L. - (black locust)

Black locust is a medium-sized tree, native to eastern North America. In Europe it is frequently planted as an ornamental or for erosion control. However, it is highly invasive and affects biodiversity and soil properties. It is now common in many parts of Europe, especially France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and England (Camenen et al., 2016).
