Rhopalosiphum Koch, 1854

The genus contains 15-20 species and includes the important cereal pests R. padi and R. maidis. The antennae have 5 or 6 segments and are shorter than the body. The siphunculi are short to medium long and often slightly swollen in the distal half.

Type species: Rhopalosiphum nymphaeae
