Pseudomonas syringae (antagonist) van Hall
The bacterium is a common plant pathogen (see plant pathogenic Pseudomonas syringae), but certain strains are produced commercially and are used as antagonists against various fungal diseases, e.g. some strains control green (Penicillium digitatum) and blue mold (Penicillium italicum) on stored fruits.
