Pleiochaeta setosa (Kirchn.) S. Hughes 1951 - (brown spot of lupin)

This fungus is widely distributed and causes leaf spots on lupin and some other Fabaceae. The brown leaf spots often coalesce and most of the blade can be affected, leading to plant death. The conidia have a size of around 85 x 16 μm with appendages up to 84 μm long (Garibaldi et al., 2012).
