First report of Phomopsis viticola causing bunch rot of grapes in Australia
Plant Pathology 56 (4), 725-725
Abstract: Bunch rot disease was observed during 2004-2006 in a commercial vineyard in the Hastings Valley, NSW, Australia with berries becoming desiccated and rachis necrotic. Phomopsis viticola was isolated from canes, leaves, flowers, rachis and bunches and identified based on morphological characteristics of the conidia. Pathogenicity of the isolates was confirmed by inoculation and re-isolation.
