Plant Pathology 55 (2), 305-305
Abstract: In 2004, a leaf spot disease was observed on wheat in different geographic regions of Bulgaria. The visible symptoms were oval to elongated brown spots surrounded by a chlorotic halo and the isolated fungus was identified as Drechslera tritici-repentis based on morphological features. The teleomorph, Pyrenophora tritici-repentis, was identified in straw debris.
