First report of vascular wilt caused by Fusarium proliferatum on cauliflower in China
Plant Disease 104 (11), 3065-3065
Abstract: During 2017, cauliflower plants (Brassica oleracea var. botrytis) grown in Heilongjiang Province, China were observed with root rot symptoms. Diseased plants showed leaf yellowing and wilting, stunting, root rot, and vascular discoloration of the stems and roots. The fungus Fusarium proliferatum was isolated from the diseased plants. The identification was based on morphological characteristics and DNA sequence analysis. Pathogenicity of the isolates was demonstrated by inoculation and re-isolation.
