First report of bacterial leaf spot caused by Pseudomonas cichorii on Schefflera arboricola in Turkey
Plant Disease 93 (8), 848-848
Abstract: During 2006 and 2008, ornamental dwarf schefflera (Schefflera arboricola) plants grown in Turkey were observed with symptoms of leaf spots with yellow halos. The bacterium Pseudomonas cichorii was isolated from the diseased plants. The identification was based on the Sherlock Microbial Identification System software. Pathogenicity of the isolates was demonstrated by inoculation and re-isolation.
