First record of Xiphinema pacificum from a peach orchard in Georgia

Abstract: During 2000, Xiphinema pacificum was found to be associated with dying peach trees in Georgia, USA. This species has previously been recorded in vineyards of British Columbia, Canada. Samples contained 34 to 143 nematodes per 100 cm3 of soil under dying trees and 19 to 30 nematodes per 100 cm3 of soil under healthy trees.
