Pilosella aurantiaca (weed) (L.) F.W.Schultz & Sch.Bip. - (orange hawkweed)
This species of dandelion-like plants is native to Europe, but has been introduced into various other regions as an ornamental. It has become invasive in some areas like south-eastern Australia or in Alaska, U.S.A., where it is an environmental weed, especially in alpine regions and grasslands. It can form near-monotypic stands, reducing plant diversity, and decreasing pasture productivity (Seefeldt & Conn, 2011).
Synonyms:
Hieracium aurantiacum
