Phyllonorycter leucographella (Zeller, 1850)

This leafminer is native to southern Europe and western Asia. Since the 1980s it has been also recorded from several countries in Central Europe. The main original host plant is the ornamental shrub Pyracantha coccinea. However, invasive populations have been also recorded from other Rosaceae. The adult moths are small with a wingspan of 6-8 mm.
