Phloeotribus liminaris
Phloeotribus liminaris (Harris, 1852) - (peach bark beetle)
This bark beetle attacks Prunus species like Prunus serotina and is found in eastern parts of North America. However, it mainly infests weakened and damaged trees. P. liminaris has been also reported from Italy (Pennacchio, 2004).
