Pezothrips Karny, 1907
This genus of thrips is widely distributed and contains around 10 species. Economically, the most important pest species is Pezothrips kellyanus which attacks citrus and is invasive in several countries.
The species are similar to those of the genus Megalurothrips, but differs in the setal row on the forewings and the structure of the antennae.
