Peristenus mellipes (parasitoid) (Cresson, 1872)

This wasp is an endoparasitoid of Lygus species and related mirids in North America. It has been often confused with the closely related Peristenus pallipes which is only found in Europe. For a taxonomic review see Zhang et al. (2017).
