The cocksfoot mild mosaic virus is found in several regions. It infects various grasses and other monocots, including cereals, causing mild mottle and mosaic symptoms. It can be transmitted by sap and occasionally also by aphids. The particles are isometric, 25 to 30 nm in diameter.
