The Capsicum chlorosis virus has been described from Australia and has been also reported from several locations in Asia and the Pacific. On Capsicum, the virus causes chlorotic spots and mottling, marginal and interveinal chlorosis, as well as distortion of the young leaves. It also infects tomatoes and several other plants.
