Orthotospovirus arachiflavi
Assigned virus:
• groundnut chlorotic fan-spot virus (GCFSV)
The groundnut chlorotic fan-spot virus was first described in the early 1990s from peanut (Arachis hypogaea) in Taiwan, as 'peanut chlorotic fan-spot virus'. The name was changed later and 'groundnut chlorotic fan-spot virus' is the officially recognized name. The virus has been also reported from cowpea (Huang et al., 2018) and is able to infect solanaceous indicator plants.
