Ornithodoros moubata Murray, 1877
The tick is found mainly in southern and central Africa and is a vector of Borrelia duttonii, the agent of East African human relapsing fever, as well as the African swine fever virus. Its hosts are wild pigs (mainly warthogs), domestic pigs and humans.
