Ophelimus maskelli (Ashmead, 1900) - (eucalyptus gall wasp)

The wasp has invaded many countries and regions, causing leaf galls on eucalypts. For example it has been recorded from the Mediterranean region since 1999 (first found in Italy), from south-east Asia, South Africa and since 2014 from California.
