Neozygites fresenii (entomopathogen) (Nowakowski) Remaud. & S. Keller (1980)

This fungus is widely distributed and infects different species of aphids. It can be common in commercial fields like cotton (Steinkraus et al., 1995). Epizootics have been frequently described and often result in a collapse of the aphid populations (e.g. Wells et al., 2000).
