Molluginaceae - (carpet-weed family)
The Molluginaceae are a small family of herbs and shrubs with around 100 species. Most of them are found in tropical and subtropical regions. The leaves usually lack hair, have a waxy surface and an entire margin. The fruits are typically capsules. A number of species are considered to by agricultural weeds like Mollugo verticillata.
