Metarhizium guizhouense (entomopathogen) Q.T. Chen & H.L. Guo 1986

The fungus is widely distributed and has a broad host range, infecting a variety of different insect groups. It is part of the Metarhizium anisopliae complex and can be distinguished from other members of that complex by DNA analysis.
