Macrosiphoniella sanborni (Gillette, 1908) - (chrysanthemum aphid)

This aphid is widely distributed and a pest of chrysanthemums and other Asteraceae. It is also a vector of plant viruses and can cause significant damage to large-scale chrysanthemum plantings, often developing pesticide resistance (Ye et al., 2005).
