Macrosiphoniella absinthii (Linnaeus, 1758) - (absinthe aphid)
The aphid is widely distributed and feeds on absinthe (Artemisia absinthium). It can be also found on chrysanthemums. The adults have a body length of about 2 mm and a black or brown colour, often with patches of the body being covered with white powder.
