Lipaphis pseudobrassicae (Davis, 1914)
This aphid is widely distributed in the Americas and in other regions, especially in warmer climates. It infests various crops including cruciferous and solanaceous vegetables causing curling and yellowing of the leaves. It has been also reported to transmit a number of plant viruses. L. pseudobrassicae is very similar to Lipaphis erysimi and both species are often confused.
