Leucopis glyphinivora (predator) Tanasijtshuk, 1958
The larvae of this silver fly prey on different species of aphids. It has been reported from Europe and North America and is of interest as a biocontrol agent. In laboratory studies it compares favourably with the commercially available biocontrol agent Aphidoletes aphidimyza (Barriault et al., 2019).
