Lepinotus reticulatus Enderlein, 1904 - (reticulate-winged trogiid)

This species of psocids is widely distributed and can be very common in houses and stores on mouldy grain. It feeds mainly on fungi and is regarded as a nuisance pest when it occurs in large numbers. Outside houses, it may be found in bird nests or litter. L. reticulatus is parthenogenetic and cannot fly, having rudimentary wings.
