Ipomoea hederifolia L. - (scarletcreeper)
This plant is native to tropical and subtropical parts of the Americas, but has been introduced into many other regions as an ornamental or medicinal herb. It is an important weed of sugarcane in South America (e.g. see Silva et al., 2009) and is also regarded as invasive in several countries. The flowers are red to reddish yellow, often yellow in the throat.
