Ipomoea coccinea L. - (red morningglory)
This species is believed to be native to some tropical parts of the Americas. It is an agricultural weed in eastern North America, parts of Asia and parts of Africa, affecting crops like soybeans and sugarcane. The species can be easily recognised by its scarlet flowers.
