International Journal of Acarology 43 (4), 325-328
Abstract: The invasive tomato spider mite, Tetranychus evansi Baker and Pritchard 1960 (Acari: Tetranychidae) is an important pest of solanaceous plants worldwide. Despite its records from almost all over Mediterranean countries, T. evansi had not previously been recorded from Turkey. In this study, we collected T. evansi on black nightshade, Solanum nigrum L. (Solanaceae) in Eastern Mediterranean region of Turkey.
