Hemerobius micans (predator) Olivier, 1792
This species of brown lacewing is found in different parts of Europe. It has been mainly recorded from broad-leaved trees like beech or oak. It is a polyphagous predator which feeds on small arthropods like aphids, scale insects, mealybugs or mites, as well as on pollen. The adults have a yellowish appearance and a length of around 10 mm including the wings.
