Harpalus rufipes (predator) (De Geer)

This ground beetle is a predator of various pest species, including insects and slugs. It also feeds on the seeds of weeds and strawberries (for the latter see: Harpalus rufipes as pest). However it rarely causes significant damage to strawberries.
