This genus of stink bugs is widely distributed in Europe, Africa and Asia. It includes around 10 species, some of which can be injurious to Apiaceae, fruit and nut trees, as well as other crops. For example, Graphosoma lineatum feeds on crops like anise, carrots or parsley. However, Graphosoma species are rarely regarded as significant pests. The adults are around 10 mm long and typically have a bright red (sometimes more yellowish) colour with black stripes or marks.
