Glossina fuscipes Newstead

This species of tsetse fly is found in west and Central Africa as well as parts of East Africa (green areas in map on the right). It is an important vector of human and animal African trypanosomiasis diseases (Trypanosoma brucei). Humans and livestock are the predominant hosts. It can be common in certain habitats like along rivers.
