Fopius ceratitivorus (parasitoid) Wharton, 1999
The wasp is an egg-larval parasitoid of the Mediterranean fruit fly, Ceratitis capitata. It was originally reported from Kenya, parasitising fruit flies on coffee. It has been introduced into Central America against the medfly and is being considered for introduction into other regions.
