Feltiella (predators) Rübsaamen, 1910

This genus contains around 10 species of predatory midges that feed as larvae on spider mites while the adults feed on nectar and pollen. Feltiella acarisuga is commercially available in some countries for spider mite control in green houses. It is effective, for example, against Tetranychus urticae or T. kanzawai
