Liaise with scientific institutions, State and Federal Government Departments, and major client groups, including northern Queensland rural industries and communities, regarding pest plant control activities and research. 8. Co-ordinate and prioritise the activities of staff assigned to the research project to ensure predetermined performance standards are completed in a timely, appropriate and efficient manner. 9. Ensure that the workplace is free of discrimination and harassment, staff are treated fairly and equitably and that a safe and healthy work environment is maintained as well as all possible action is taken to prevent unsafe work practices from occurring. |
