Euproctis taiwana (Shiraki, 1913)
This moth is found in Taiwan and Japan. It is polyphagous and can cause defoliation of trees like mango or guava, as well as other crops like tea or beans. In addition, the hairs of the caterpillars cause irritation and dermatitis after contact with the skin.
