Euetheola humilis (Burmeister, 1847) - (sugarcane beetle)
The beetle is found in warmer regions of the Americas and the larvae (white grubs) attack turf grasses, sugarcane, maize and other crops. The adult beetle is dull black, ≈ 15 mm in length with distinct rows of striae extending along the length of the abdomen.
