Eriosoma lanuginosum (Hartig,1839) - (elm balloon-gall aphid)
This aphid is found in Europe and western Asia. It develops on elm trees (primary host) forming large leaf galls (pseudogalls) and during the summer on the roots of pear trees (secondary host).
