Predators of velvetbean caterpillar eggs in Florida soybeans

Abstract: Twenty species of arthropods have been recorded as egg predators of the velvetbean caterpillar, Anticarsia gemmatalis, on soya bean (Glycine max) in Florida, USA, following radiotracer experiments in which the eggs of A. gemmatalis were labelled with 32P. The predators include the gryllid Pictonemobius ambitiosus.
