First record of Phenacoccus solenopsis Tinsley (Hemiptera: Coccoidea: Pseudococcidae) in Algeria

Abstract: We report the first record of the invasive mealybug Phenacoccus solenopsis Tinsley (Hemiptera: Coccomorpha: Pseudococcidae) in Algeria. It was found on Citrus lemon (L) Osbeck (Rutaceae) in the Rouïba region [36° 43'N 3° 16'E].
