Abstract: We report the first record of the Brown Marmorated Stink Bug, Halyomorpha halys (Stål, 1855) (Hemiptera:Heteroptera, Pentatomidae), in Turkey. This agricultural pest was detected in October 2017 in Kemalpasa District of Artvin Province located in the Eastern Black Sea Region near the Georgian border. We discuss potential further spread of the pest and its host plants in Turkey.
