Abstract: Pachycoris torridus (Scopoli 1772) presents a wide range of hosts and it is the only species of the Scutelleridae family with agriculture importance in Brazil.This species present aposematism and it obtain toxic compounds from plants for defense against predators. This is the first register of P. torridus feeding on Coffea arabica L fruits and another chromatic pattern of this bug was observed in Viçosa, Minas Gerais State, Brazil.
