The raspberry leaf blotch virus infects raspberry and blackberry plants (Rubus species) in several parts of Europe. The symptoms include yellow leaf blotches, distortion of the leaf margins, and twisting of the leaves. These symptoms had been previously attributed to the raspberry leaf and bud mite (Phyllocoptes gracilis) and the virus is presumably transmitted by this mite (Dong et al., 2016).
