Elm mottle virus (EMoV)
The virus has been found in Europe, infecting elms, Syringa or Hydrangea. The symptoms include mottling, mosaic and chlorotic ringspots on the leaves. It can be easily transmitted mechanically. Hydrangea mosaic virus is regarded as a synonym for this virus (Scott et al., 2003).
