Ectophoma multirostrata (P.N. Mathur et al.) Valenzuela-Lopez, Cano, Crous, Guarro & Stchigel 2017

This fungus is widely distributed and has been reported to infect various plants, causing diseases like leaf blight, leaf spot or blackleg. The pycnidia are black and around 150 to 300 μm in diameter. Conidia are hyaline, elliptical and nonseptate, with a size of about 5x3 µm. In culture, brown chlamydospores are formed.
