Dolycoris baccarum (Linnaeus 1758) - (sloe bug)
This bug is found in Europe and Asia. It is polyphagous and feeds on developing berries as well as the developing seeds of cotton, soybean and other crops. Infested berries acquire an unpleasant taste due to excretions by the bug. There are usually several generations per year.
