Diplotaxis erucoides (weed) (L.) DC. - (white wallrocket)

This species of wallrocket is native to the Mediterranean region. It has been introduced into several other regions like North America, Australia or parts of Africa and Asia. It often grows as a weed in crop fields like vegetables, fruits trees or pastures. The pollen may cause allergies.

The plants grow to a height of 20-50 cm with lobed and divided leaves. The flowers are white, in contrast to most other species of the genus which have yellow flowers.
